The “Evolution” Program
The Inside the Wire Foundation designs and delivers timely and relevant programs that provide information for each participant as they transition from military to civilian culture. Our goal is to create an environment where participants can become prepared, engaged and empowered as they move forward in their civilian lives. We work with our clients to develop their short-term life plans, overcome real and perceived obstacles, develop their longer-term goals and create a secure network of like-minded collaborators that facilitate their transition and support them through their evolution.
Our staff and group of mentors work directly with Veterans to engage them in the active development and execution of their transition plans, and with the assistance of partner organizations, to provide a “front-door” 7-month program that addresses five key areas: Housing, Employment, Medical & Financial Wellness, Mental & Physical Wellness, and Education and the Road Ahead. The program structure is class based with each class attending a 6-week accelerated program of weekly meetings followed by a series of 5 once-a month workshops. Each monthly workshop covers a key area, and clients are provided the necessary tools, resources and encouragement to address their individual needs. Upon the completion of the last workshop, classes will attend a graduation luncheon, and participants will have the opportunity to become ITWF mentors and will automatically become ITWF alumni. ITWF alumni will have continued access to all ITWF resources as long as they are needed.
ITWF knows that each Warfighter is unique and our goal is to give each client the tools and attention needed for their personal journey. Our ultimate success is measured by our clients’ progress and their milestone successes.
